ELLIOT J. ROSNER has a varied practice encompassing complex commercial and civil litigation, matrimonial and family law, and corporate and real estate transactions.

As a commercial litigator appearing before state courts, federal courts, and arbitration panels, Mr. Rosner has represented clients in the fields of real estate, health care, education, food production, nursing homes, as well as not-for-profit entities. Mr. Rosner has litigated cases involving breach of contract, common law fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, civil RICO, defamation, business torts, confirmation of arbitration awards, and employment disputes.

In his matrimonial and family law practice, Mr. Rosner represents clients before the New York State Supreme Court and Family Court, as well as in Beth Din and other ADR forums, in matters encompassing issues such as divorce, custody, visitation, child support, spousal maintenance, equitable distribution, arbitration, and prenuptial agreements. Mr. Rosner's experience includes engaging in complex discovery in matrimonial actions involving privately held corporations, limited liability companies, real estate investments, trusts, and professional practices. In his experience, however, most matrimonial matters conclude with a comprehensive settlement agreement.

Mr. Rosner's transactional practice includes advising clients at all stages from preliminary negotiations through the drafting of agreements and closing in matters such as asset purchases, purchases of stock and membership interests, and real estate financing. He has also drafted and advised clients on LLC Operating Agreements, Employment Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and contracts for the sale of real property.

Mr. Rosner graduated from Columbia Law School where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Notes Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review. Mr. Rosner is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey and is a member of the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. Mr. Rosner is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Every year since 2014, Mr. Rosner has been recognized by inclusion in Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for New York. The Rising Stars list, which includes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state, is comprised of attorneys who are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.

Mr. Rosner lives in New Jersey with his wife and children.
